How to book: Please complete the Booking form and return it to LIMPOPO VET SAFARIS together with a non-refundable deposit of 30% (US$ bank transfer/website payment payable by client) of the applicable fare. Please note that Bookings cannot be confirmed without a deposit.
The balance of the fare is due 4 weeks prior to departure.
• THE CONTRACT: In this contract the following words shall have the corresponding meanings unless the context otherwise indicates and the same meanings shall be applicable mutatis mutandis to the booking conditions:
LVS means LIMPOPO VET SAFARIS
The Client means the person who accepts the Booking by signature
• The client who signifies the acceptance of a booking does so on behalf of himself / herself. All bookings are made with LVS and no person has any authority on its behalf to vary any of the terms and conditions, which are applicable.
• A non-refundable deposit of 30% (nett of bank transfer/website payment) for each client is required when submitting the booking form, which shall be returned to LVS on completion. The booking deposit is accepted as part of the inclusive fare and will NOT be refunded if the applicant cannot be accommodated. If the Amount for the tour is paid in ZAR (South-African Rand), 10% will be added to the Total Tour Price because of fluctuating exchange rates and added administrative services and costs involved.
• The full amount due (bank transfer/website payment payable by client) by the client to LVS shall be payable not less than 4 weeks prior to the date of departure. If the full amount is not paid in due time, LVS reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled. Late applicants however may join the tour on an availability basis and given they pay the FULL TOUR PRICE UPFRONT.
• CANCELLATIONS: If a booking is cancelled with the consent of LVS, LVS shall retain the full deposit. If the booking is cancelled less than 42 days before departure, LVS shall retain the full deposit and a cancellation fee will be payable by the client as follows: 41 – 29 days 40% of total fare 28 – 14 days 60% of total fare 13 – 0 days 100% of total fare Cancellation insurance is compulsory for all LVS tours. It is the client’s responsibility to arrange cancellation insurance. Should a client fail to join a tour after the departure or leave prior to its completion, LVS will accept no refund or liability.
• The client is aware that the itineraries are flexible and could be influenced by local conditions. LVS reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary should it be deemed necessary. LVS will not accept any claims of any nature including consequential damages as a result of any accommodation or other facilities, made or becoming unavailable during the tour. The client hereby indemnifies and holds LVS harmless in respect of any such claim.
• LVS reserves the right to cancel any tours without prior notification, in such event, all monies paid will be refunded in full which shall constitute the full extent of LVS’s liability to the client.
• The client undertakes and agrees that he will, at all time, comply with a reasonable code of conduct during the tour and will not in any way constitute a nuisance to the other persons on tour. Should the tour leader deem the client to be a hindrance or a danger to the rest of the group, or should the client be detected in any contravention of the laws, customs or foreign exchange regulations of a country, the client is aware that LVS may order the client to leave the tour without right to refund of any monies paid and without liability to LVS or its employees or agents. The client shall be obligated to make his/her own way home at his/her own expense and responsibility.
• CLAIMS & COMPLAINTS: In the unusual event that a client has a complaint against LVS, the client must first inform the tour leader whilst on tour, so that the tour leader can attempt to rectify the matter. Should the matter not be rectified whilst on tour, the client should write to LVS as soon as possible.

• BAGGAGE: The client is aware that baggage is restricted to the following dimensions: 16” wide x 24” high x 31” deep (406 x 609 x 787 mm). In addition a daypack or camera bag will be allowed. LVS may refuse to carry baggage in excess of these dimensions if necessary. All baggage and personal effects are at all times the client’s risk and LVS cannot accept liability for any loss of baggage or personal effects.
• TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: The client acknowledges that it is his responsibility to ensure that he is in possession of the necessary valid travel documents, passport, visas, vaccination certificates, travel and medical insurance etc.
• INSURANCE: Comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, curtailment, medical emergency travel and personal accident, is compulsory for participants on all LVS tours. The client acknowledges that it is his responsibility to take out insurance. The client undertakes to take comprehensive travel insurance to cover his/her personal requirements. Please note that credit card travel insurance is inadequate for a tour.
• FACTORS OUTSIDE LVS’ CONTROL: The client is aware that unforeseen circumstances due to road conditions, weather, mechanical breakdown, accident, border closure, political situations etc are beyond the control of LVS and can delay and change the performance of the tour.
• HEALTH: The client acknowledges being aware of the proposed itinerary and it is the client’s obligation to ensure that he/she is medically fit and able to embark upon such a tour. Clients will be responsible for their own mosquito prophylaxis.
• This reservation and eventual contract between the client and LVS shall be deemed to be concluded in Pretoria, Province of Gauteng, Republic of South Africa; and shall be interpreted according to the laws of the Republic of South Africa. In the event of any action hereunder, the Supreme Court of South Africa shall have jurisdiction in regard thereto, notwithstanding that the amount of the claim may be within the jurisdiction of the Magistrate’s Court.
• LVS believes that the contents of the brochure & website are correct at the time of printing, but all prices and services are subject to change or withdrawal without notice.
• LVS reserves the right, without giving further notice, to use photographs and films taken during tours, for publication in a brochure or advertising material. The client acknowledges this right and will not hold LVS liable for permission or payment.
